Certification built for the realities of the field.
Not all K9 training is created equally. UPWDA testing determines the proficiency of the complete handler-and-canine team in each phase of operational work.
Team-based certification
Every credential belongs to the handler and canine operating as one team—never independently.
Qualified authority
Accredited Master Trainers administer testing and act as UPWDA's certifying authority.
Operational relevance
Testing reflects real assignments, sound judgment, control, safety, and reliable performance.
Annual accountability
K9 team certificates carry a unique number and remain valid for one year from issuance.
Prepared for what comes next.
Standards that evolve with the work—and testing that proves a team is ready to perform.
Train hard.
Be ready.
